燐酸グリセロールの前生物的合成： Prebaiotic formation of Glycerol-phosphate
グリセロールとシュライバーサイト[(Fe,Ni)3P]を水中で嫌気的な環境で65度Cに加熱すると、亜燐酸と燐酸グリセロールが2.5%の収率で生成した（Pasek et al. 2013）。燐酸グリセロールは細胞膜の主成分である。
